A Disciple of Christ. Therein is the description that most every seeker wants to be known as. And yet, after the crucifixion and Resurrection of Yashua (Jesus), God now calls us Son of God. So how do we get from disciple to Son? This writing attempts to explore that journey.
About Alan Newton
Third Day Truth's mission is to help other believers see who we already are in Christ; not who we may be some day, but who we are right now! Alan's calling is to interpret God Words in the light of the Third Day understanding and experience.
Born in Charlotte, NC in 1950, Alan has lived in or near the Charlotte area most of his life. After 30 years of chaos in an environment with little or no Christ awareness or exposure, Alan came to know Jesus Christ as LORD and Saviour in 1980. He was introduced to Biblical Hebrew at a Passover Seder Service in 1982 by well known Hebrew scholar and highly respected Bible teacher, Karl Coke. For several years Karl Coke was to Alan a mentor, Elder Brother and teacher of the Hebrew language. Alan immediately fell in love with the language our Saviour spoke. However, most of what he holds dear has been revealed to him directly from Holy Spirit insights while studying the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, and dissecting Hebrew words.
In studying the Words Our Saviour spoke to us, Alan realized early on there was something not quite right with the English translation of the original Hebrew scriptures. Alan has spent more than twenty five years listening for Our Father's Voice for a more clear understanding of the original Hebrew scriptures. The rewards are beyond description. Yashua taught us "God is Spirit", and speaks to us in Spirit and in Truth. The passion of this ministry effort is to discern and illuminate what we believe is the original Spiritual intent of Our Father to His created and formed expression, which we are.
Alan has been married to Judith Ann Wooden Newton for over 40 years. They have two sons, two daughters in law, two grandsons and a granddaughter.
May you be blessed "...in the knowledge of Him" and inspired by what Alan shares in this site.
Ephesians 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him;
